Project 1,000 Acres

We researched landscape best practices, consulted with experts, and followed government guidance to create "10 Actions Now"  for greener property maintenance. These voluntary actions can apply to residences, businesses, and common lands in our Village.

Through this project we hope to

*Address global warming, water and noise pollution, and promote a robust ecosystem.

*Make roughly one third - 1,000 out of 3,600 acres - of the land in our Village sustainable

* Bring together citizens, government, schools, businesses, and utilities for common benefit

* Set an example for other communities

* Accomplish this by the end of 2024
